General Court Information

The Lafayette County Circuit Clerk, Deana Aversman, was elected to this office in 1994. Prior to her election, she worked in the Saline County office for 11 years. Deana is a member of the Missouri Circuit Clerk’s Association and is currently serving on the Records Preservation Committee and Resolutions Committee. By Supreme Court appointment, she is serving a second three-year term on the Court Clerk Education Committee.  

The office currently utilizes the Judicial Information System (JIS) for case processing and case management. This system also enables an electronic transfer of information to case.net. Case information is available to the public online by accessing the Missouri Courts website at www.courts.mo.gov and clicking on the case.net link. You will find other valuable information at this site as well.
